  • Parents and teachers want you to succeed, but you have to help them!
  • Teachers are educating you on science, math or English, and they are doing much more. In collaboration with your parents, they are teaching you about life, how to get along with others, how to communicate effectively, how to take responsibility, how to handle stress, and how to believe in yourself.
  • Successful people know it is important to help others.

Difference Between Private & Public Schools

In a 2003 study of 1,050 adults in ranging from 28 – 60 years of age - only thirty six people (3.6%) learned how to set and achieve goal setting when they were in school.

Breakdown:
31 private schools
3 from their parents
2 public schools

Interestingly, 96% of these adults who had not learned about goal setting early in life said their life would have been improved if they had learned these skill in school.

What is unique?

The Goal Setting for Students® book is a structured program that answers three questions necessary for "buy in" from your kids:

  • Why is this important?
  • How can I do this?
  • How do I use this today to make my life (and the lives of those around me) better?

Features

  • The primary goal of this book is to facilitate meaningful discussions.
  • We help students understand that adults are there to help them – but that it is a two way street – they have to help the adults also.
  • Parents are the key to making these principles a life habit.
  • The Goal Setting for Students® book shows kids how to use these principles in the classroom - today.
  • The book includes real world examples that kids can relate to and discuss.
  • The goal setting message is divided into eight parts. It is not a small segment of a much larger program.
